Titan Veil Stronghold Resort

Our Story

Where Strength Meets Serenity in the Canadian Wilderness

How We Got Here

2008 - The Vision Takes Root

Marcus Holbrook first hiked these trails back in '08. He wasn't looking for anything in particular - just needed to clear his head after selling his tech company down in Vancouver. But something about this ridge stuck with him. The way the mountains cradle the valley, how the light hits different every hour... he knew folks needed to experience this.

2011 - Breaking Ground

Three years of planning, permits, and partnering with local Indigenous communities. We didn't just wanna build another resort - we wanted to honor this land. The Squamish Nation helped us understand the stories these mountains tell, and we designed every building to work with the landscape, not against it.

2014 - Opening Day

September 12th. Rain poured like crazy, but thirty-two guests showed up anyway. Marcus stood in the main lodge watching people's faces as they took in that view for the first time. That's when he knew we'd done something right. The suites weren't even fully furnished yet, but nobody seemed to care.

2018 - Growing Thoughtfully

Added the spa wing and conference facilities. Honestly, we hesitated - didn't wanna lose that intimate vibe. But our architect Elena figured out how to tuck them into the hillside so they feel like they've always been there. The wood came from sustainable forestry operations just 40 kilometers north.

2025 - Still Evolving

We're here now, and yeah, we've gotten some nice recognition over the years. But what matters most? The couple who comes back every anniversary. The executive who found clarity on our trails. The families who make this their tradition. That's the real story.

Marcus Holbrook - Founder

Marcus Holbrook

Founder & Visionary

Look, I'm not great at the whole 'talking about myself' thing. But I'll tell you this - I've spent twenty years climbing mountains, another fifteen building businesses, and the last decade trying to share what these peaks taught me.

Titan Veil isn't about luxury for luxury's sake. It's about creating space where people can remember what matters. Where the Wi-Fi's intentionally spotty in some areas (yeah, that's on purpose), and where you might bump into a black bear on a guided hike if you're lucky.

Every timber beam, every stone fireplace, every trail we maintain - it's all meant to help you reconnect. With nature, sure. But more importantly, with yourself and the people you brought with you.

"The mountains don't care about your quarterly earnings or your Instagram followers. Out here, you remember what you're actually made of."

- Marcus Holbrook, on why he built Titan Veil

What Guests Tell Us

"We've been to resorts all over the world, but Titan Veil's different. It's not trying to impress you with over-the-top stuff. It just... lets the mountains do the talking. Our kids actually put down their phones."

Sarah & James Chen

Toronto, ON - Fourth Visit

"I came here burned out from running my startup. Spent a week hiking with their guide Tom and soaking in the spa. Left with more clarity than six months of therapy gave me. Already booked my next trip."

David Kumar

Seattle, WA - Regular Guest

"The staff knows us by name now. Chef remembers my husband's allergies without asking. It feels less like a hotel and more like visiting friends who happen to live somewhere incredible."
